1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service apply when a business, staff member or customer accesses or uses Visit Mate. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the applicable Privacy Policy.
2. Accounts and access
Users are responsible for keeping login credentials, PINs and access methods secure and for using the service only with authority. Businesses are responsible for managing staff permissions and for ensuring information they enter into Visit Mate is accurate and lawfully collected.
3. Merchant services and transactions
Visit Mate provides technology used to facilitate business operations. The merchant remains responsible for the goods or services it supplies, including pricing, fulfilment, cancellations, refunds and customer service obligations that apply to that merchant.
Where a payment provider is used, additional provider terms may apply. Transaction status and references may be recorded in Visit Mate to support reconciliation and service delivery.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use Visit Mate to break the law, interfere with the service, gain unauthorised access, distribute malicious code, abuse other users, scrape protected information, or attempt to obtain information you are not authorised to access.
5. Availability and changes
Visit Mate may update, maintain or modify features over time. Temporary interruptions can occur because of maintenance, internet or device issues, third-party services, payment networks or events outside reasonable control.
6. Consumer rights and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by law, Visit Mate is not responsible for loss caused by misuse, unauthorised access, merchant conduct, inaccurate information supplied by a user, third-party outages or circumstances outside Visit Mate's reasonable control.
7. Support and questions
Customers can use Customer Support and businesses can use Business Support. Questions about a merchant's own goods or services should generally be directed to that merchant first.
